These impulse control reading comprehension passages give Grade 4 readers ten texts at F&P levels Q–S, from a group project outburst to the brain science of a strong urge. The set builds Self-Management, one of the five CASEL competencies, through body signals, calming moves and repair after a slip.

- The Snack Stealer Scenario: a problem-solution story in which a class works through a conflict circle to find a fair outcome.
