Terms of Service

Effective October 15, 2026Privacy PolicyRefund & Cancellation Policy

The short version

  • SELcurve is for teachers, school counselors and other school staff. Students use your activity links without creating accounts.
  • Every account is a single-teacher license: use resources with your own students, and send colleagues to selcurve.com instead of sharing files or your login.
  • Your free account is free forever, so you can try everything first - and every payment comes with a 14-day full refund (see our Refund & Cancellation Policy).
  • Subscriptions renew once a year until you turn off auto-renewal in My Account - you keep full access until the end of the year you paid for.

Agreement to these terms #

By creating an account or buying a subscription on SELcurve (selcurve.com), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use SELcurve.

These terms are between you and USTECH EPUBLISHERS LLP (LLP Identification Number: AAL-1693), incorporated under the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008, and registered in Maharashtra, India, which operates SELcurve (“we,” “us” or “our”).

Orders through Paddle: Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Who can use SELcurve #

SELcurve is for teachers, school counselors and other education professionals. You must be 18 or older to create an account or subscribe.

Students don't create accounts. Teachers share activity links, and students open them without logging in.

Your account #

  • Keep it secure: you are responsible for your password and for what happens in your account.
  • One account per teacher: accounts can't be shared - see How you can use SELcurve resources.
  • Keep it accurate: please give accurate information and keep it up to date, and use an email address you will keep (temporary self-deleting inboxes are not accepted).
  • Devices: your account can be signed in on a limited number of devices at the same time. Signing in on a new device may sign out the oldest one.

Subscriptions and payment #

  • Free account: free to create, no card needed. It gives you the free resources in the SEL Resource Library and all the teacher tools.
  • SEL Resource Library subscription: full access to every premium resource in the library while your subscription is active. The price is the one shown on the Pricing page when you buy.
  • Billing: subscriptions are billed once a year, when you buy and at each renewal, by our reseller Paddle.com (subscriptions started with PayPal before we moved to Paddle continue to be billed through PayPal).
  • Renewal: your subscription renews automatically each year, at the price shown on the Pricing page, until you turn off auto-renewal. Before each renewal we email you a reminder with the date, the amount and how to turn it off.
  • Price changes: if the price of your plan changes, we will tell you by email before your next renewal, and you can turn off auto-renewal before it takes effect.
  • Turning off auto-renewal: you can do this online, any time, with one button in My Account - no need to contact us. You keep full access until the end of the year you paid for.

Refunds #

Every payment comes with a 14-day full refund: ask within 14 days of your first payment or of a yearly renewal and you get all of it back. The details - how to ask, turning off auto-renewal and duplicate charges - are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is part of these terms.

Orders placed through Paddle.com are also covered by Paddle’s Refund Policy.

How you can use SELcurve resources #

Every SELcurve account - free or paid - comes with a single-teacher license: it covers one teacher (you) and the students you teach or support directly. While your account or subscription is active you may:

  • view and print resources (and save the ones you print) for your own classroom or counseling work
  • share digital activity links with your own students
  • use resources to teach the students you work with directly

Please don't share SELcurve resources with other teachers. This includes printed copies, saved or printed-to-PDF files, your login and links to your resources. If a colleague would like to use them, point them to selcurve.com - they can start with a free account. Co-teachers each need their own account. Schools and districts that want access for several teachers can email [email protected].

How we protect the license: PDFs you view or print carry your name, email and the date, and a hidden code that identifies the download. We watch for use that doesn't fit one teacher - for example, very fast or very large downloading, or one account used from many places. We may pause View & Print for a short time automatically, turn off an activity link that has been posted publicly, or pause premium access while we look into it (a person always reviews a pause longer than the automatic one). See the Privacy Policy for details.

You may not:

  • share, sell or upload resources for others to use - including shared drives, school intranets, learning platforms and other websites - beyond your own students
  • present SELcurve resources as your own work
  • use resources for commercial purposes

Using activity links with students #

You decide which activities to share and with whom. Students type a name to start; we suggest first names or initials. What students type stays in their browser and is not sent to us (see the Privacy Policy). You can turn links off, or let them expire, in Activity Links. A link that is opened from an unusually large number of different networks (for example, because it was posted online) may be turned off automatically; you can turn it back on in Activity Links.

Content you add #

Ratings, reviews, resource requests and anything else you write in SELcurve stay yours. You give us permission to store and use them to run SELcurve; reviews you post are shown to other teachers with your first name, last initial and the grades you teach. We may remove content that breaks these terms. Please don't include student names in reviews or requests.

Intellectual property #

All resources, curriculum materials, standards frameworks and platform design on SELcurve belong to USTECH EPUBLISHERS LLP and are protected by copyright. The SELcurve name, logo and the SELcurve Standards framework may not be used without written permission.

Availability #

We aim to keep SELcurve available at all times but can't promise it will never be interrupted, for example during maintenance or updates. We are not liable for losses caused by downtime.

What the library includes #

A subscription gives you access to the SEL Resource Library as it is while your subscription is active. We add new resources regularly and aim to add them often, but we don’t promise a set number of new resources or a fixed release schedule (for example, weekly).

We may also update, improve, replace or retire individual resources, for example to fix mistakes, keep content current or meet legal requirements. The price of a subscription is for access to the library, not for a particular number of resources or for future additions.

Things you must not do #

  • use SELcurve for anything unlawful
  • try to get into accounts, data or systems that aren't yours
  • scrape, copy in bulk or reverse-engineer SELcurve or its content, or use bots or automated tools to sign up, log in or download
  • get around our limits or security checks, or remove watermarks or tracking codes from resources
  • create accounts with temporary email addresses, or use several accounts to get around limits
  • upload malware or spam, or disrupt the platform
  • use SELcurve in a way that could harm SELcurve or other users

Disclaimer #

SELcurve is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We don't promise it will be error-free or uninterrupted.

SELcurve resources are for education. They are not mental-health advice, therapy or clinical intervention. Please use your professional judgment in how you use them with students.

Limitation of liability #

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about these terms or SELcurve is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages.

Ending your account #

We may pause, suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, for example by sharing resources or a login. Before closing an account we will usually contact you first, unless the misuse is serious or obvious. You can close your account at any time by emailing [email protected]. When an account is closed, your personal information is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

If something goes wrong #

If you have a problem with SELcurve, please contact us first at [email protected]. We reply within 2 business days, and we will try in good faith to resolve your complaint within 30 days before either of us takes any formal step.

Changes to these terms #

When we update these terms we change the effective date at the top. For important changes we will also email account holders. Using SELcurve after an update means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law #

These terms are governed by the laws of India, as applied in the State of Maharashtra. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Thane, Maharashtra, India. If you live where consumer laws give you rights that a contract can't remove (for example the EU, UK or Australia), those rights still apply.

Other legal terms #

  • Responsibility for misuse: if you use SELcurve in a way that breaks these terms (for example by sharing resources) and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover the reasonable costs that result.
  • Whole agreement: these terms, the Refund & Cancellation Policy and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about SELcurve.
  • If part doesn't apply: if a court finds part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
  • No waiver: if we don't enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later.
  • Transfer: you can't transfer your account to someone else. We may transfer these terms if SELcurve is reorganized or sold, and your rights under them continue.
  • Events outside our control: we aren't responsible for delays or failures caused by events we can't reasonably control, such as outages at our hosting or payment providers.
