About this resource
Third graders build confidence one small try at a time. These self-esteem reading comprehension passages for Grade 3 follow that process across ten texts at F&P levels N–P, from a new library helper to a shy glowworm asked to lead a parade. The set supports Self-Awareness, one of the five CASEL competencies.

- Grading made quick with the answer key
Grade fit
Third graders start to notice who knows more, and two passages meet that directly: Carys with her inventions club partner, and Brigid in the school band. The levels move from N to P, so these reading passages with questions work for readers still building fluency and for those ready for longer texts.
