A look inside
How to use these personal values reading passages
Grade fit
Values can sound abstract, so this set keeps them close to home: a beaver’s dam, a market stall, a family game night, a porch with a new book. Levels run K to M, and the level M passages add a science text, a compare-and-contrast piece and a problem-and-solution story for readers ready for more. They are reading passages with questions that let young readers name a value and point to the action that shows it.
Digital version
With the interactive digital version, you share one link and students read each passage and answer the questions on any device, with no student logins. At the end they download an answer sheet to hand in.
