How to use these identifying triggers reading comprehension passages
Grade fit
The triggers here are ones second graders know well: a loud gym, waiting in line, a game that ends suddenly. Levels rise from K to M, and the detective idea gives younger readers a simple, concrete way to think about where a feeling came from. Each of these reading passages with questions fits on a single page, with the questions on the pages that follow.
Digital version
With the interactive digital version, you share one link and students read each passage and answer the questions on any device, with no student logins. At the end they download an answer sheet to hand in.
