About this resource
Caring how someone else feels can be practiced, just like reading. These empathy affirmation cards give Grades 2–8 thirty daily messages about noticing feelings, listening with intention and showing compassion in small, everyday ways. They build Social Awareness by turning empathy into something students do, and a few cards remind them to be gentle with themselves too.

Questions teachers ask
Are the cards only about caring for others?
Mostly, but the messages also cover being gentle with yourself, so students practice both sides of care.
