About this resource
Responsibility starts small: watering the plants, passing out papers, feeding the class pet. This classroom jobs chart kit gives each kindergarten and first-grade student (Grades K–1) a job, a chart of their own and a sticker every time they follow through. It is a Responsible Decision-Making lesson, with the follow-through of Self-Management behind it, among SEL activities for launching classroom jobs.

Grade fit
Decorating a chart, drawing a task and collecting stickers are pitched for Grades K–1. The household-style job cards, such as set the table, also make a good family connection when the chart goes home.
