About this resource

Read a card, and the whole class answers at once by moving. These decision-making brain breaks bring five Responsible Decision-Making skills into one SEL movement game for Grades 3–5: problem solving, good choices and consequences, personal responsibility, honesty and digital citizenship. Rounds 1–5 each take one skill, and Round 6 brings them together. Every movement has a seated version, and it’s print and play, with no prep beyond printing.

How to use these decision-making brain breaks

Quick brain breakPull one open practice card or a single Do card for 2–5 minutes of movement between lessons
Full SEL lessonPlay one round (15–20 minutes) in morning meeting or SEL time; it ends calm, so students are ready for what’s next
Play the rounds in order the first time, then replay any round or pick single cards
