About this resource
Read a card, and the whole class answers at once by moving. These self-management brain breaks bring five Self-Management skills into one SEL movement game for Grades 3–5: managing emotions, coping and calming strategies, mindfulness, perseverance and self-motivation. Rounds 1–5 each take one skill, and Round 6 brings them together. Every movement has a seated version, and it’s print and play, with no prep beyond printing.

How to use these self-management brain breaks
Grade fit
You read the cards aloud and students answer by moving, so every reader can join in. The questions go further than the K–2 version, with true-or-false traps, mixed answers and real choices that older students can argue about.
