About this resource
Self-awareness mostly happens on the inside, so it helps to practice it out loud. These self-awareness scenario cards are free with a free account (no card needed): 60 quiet moments for Grades 2–6 to look inward, from a pillowcase brought along on a night away to a dog barking behind a yellow fence. They span all ten areas of Self-Awareness, from feelings and body signals to values and triggers.
What students practice
- Naming their own feelings, even two at once
- Reading body signals like heavy eyes or a growling stomach
- Noticing their strengths and trying things that fit who they are
- Turning an unkind inner voice into a kinder one
- Spotting what sets off a feeling before it grows
What’s inside
- Open-ended cards (“What do you notice about yourself here?”) and guided cards with three questions each, four to a page
- A scenario list and printing guide; 158 pages
A look inside
The Volleyball Serve: your first serve thuds into the net, and a voice in your head says, “You’ll never get it over. Why even bother?”
How to use these self-awareness scenario cards

Digital version
The printable and digital scenario cards work together: share one link, pick the open-ended or guided format, and students respond on any device with no student logins. At the end they download an answer sheet to hand in.

Questions teachers ask
Is this the full set or a sample?
It is the full set: 60 scenarios in both the open-ended and guided versions, plus 120 journal pages, free with a free account.
Do students need accounts for the digital version?
No. You share one link, and students open it on any device without logging in.
Which version should I start with?
The open-ended card asks one question, “What do you notice about yourself here?” The guided card asks three, which helps younger students or anyone who needs more structure.
